Hello,Shelia,
I am so enjoying these wonderful and powerful books,I have read Selling my soul,Me,myself,Him,Guilty of Love,Still Guilty and they are so soul stirring,Iread them in two months time and still looking for more of the books at walmart,in selling my soul,it let you see how the devil can come in and try to destroy our lives,it’s said he is like a roaning lion seeking whom he may devour and God knows that true, then possing as a pastor and only worry about his self instead of the soul of the congreation, and can just go on and on about all the books I have read, even in Me,myself and him,she had to come to the term either it was God or her boyfriend, but she made the right decision in time,so now he have to see if he can live without her and give God his heart,my God my God,I am so glad I found this book club,I am trying to get every book in this club and that is what I am going to do, these books really is doing a lot for my soul, making me search my heart and my inner self to see where I am at in God and where I need to be in God and I thank you all for that.

I am currently reading Desperate Decisions by Marilyn Mayo Anderson. I just started this book yesterday and will be finished before I go to sleep tonight. While reading this book, my level of patience has hit the roof because of being anxious to find out who is Diana’s lost daughter, but I have an ideal. I am also prayer that Aquila will not be found by her husband. Everytime I turn a page I hold my breathe inticipating the suprise. Marilyn has done a wonderful job with this one and I hope there are more to come.
I started reading my book called A Woman’s Worth and enjoying every minute of it.
Michelle, thank you for your support. I hope you enjoyed reading A Woman’s Worth. We have more authors and their books if you click on any of the names on the right sidebar.
Hello All,
I am currently reading Nikita Lynette Nichols, A Woman’s Worth, and so far it is a page turner. I believe valuable lessons will be learned by the time I reach the end of this one. I love Michelle and Adonis’s characters and I am curious as to what journey they are going to take with each other. I will continue my journey through the authors exceptional writing skills and will let you all know how it turns out. Happy Reading!
I wanted to apologize because in my last comment I stated that the female character in A Woman’s Worth was Michelle when in fact her name is Monique. Michelle is another character from another book I am reading. I just wanted to clarify the characters names. I am surely enjoying the book and will be done by tomorrow. I hope Adonis and Monique become a couple.
I am currently reading Secrets and Lies by Rhonda McKnight and it is a powerful story. I am a very understanding person and realize that the husband in this story is dealing with some past issues but he needs to get it together before he loose his family. Jonah’s attitude is driving me crazy but its a page turner that I can’t put down. If this is Rhonda’s so call debut novel it reads as if she has been writing this genre for years. I can’t wait to read more of her work.
Teresa,
Thanks so much for your wonderful praise of my work. I give all glory to God.
I’m glad Jonah and Faith’s journey blessed you. Please look for my second novel, An Inconvenient Friend on August 1, 2010.
Love and Grace,
Rhonda
I have been reading urban christian story for a while now I love all the books written by these authors I just finished A woman’s worth nikita lynette nichols with all her books its a message and this story didn’t disappoint even though i am married to a wonderful man i still want my Adonis(lol).
Hello Dinah,
I have read Nikita Lynette Nichols “A Man;s Worth” but have not read her second installment which is the title that you mentioned. I can’t wait because it seems like once again that she has presented her message in a poweful manner. She is an excellent writer. I read Chrisitian books because after finishing a title have I learned alot. If you have not read, please read Redemption Lake by Monique Miller this is a inspirational read for married couples.
I’ve been an avid reader of Urban Books you know they are always the same sex, drugs and crime. These are books that I have enjoyed and interested me once started I couldnt put them down. A year ago I decided that I needed a change in my life and I began going to Church every Sunday trying to find my way. I must admit I continued to read these Urban books, and I thought i have to stop reading these books. I checked out Forsaken by Vanessa Miller and I read it in two days I couldn’t put it down. It was a great read cant wait to read the 2nd book of the series FORGIVEN. Can’t wait to read more.
Latoyia like you I was a avid reader of Urban Books and have since reached out to Chrisitian Fiction. I have learned alot from the individuals that write such inspirational works. I have read all of Vanessa Miller and I am always checking to see when her next book will come out. I read Forsaken in one day and I too can’t wait to the next installment arrives. She always gives you a page turning book. I am glad that you are finding your way please continue to read the refreshing novelist that are part of this book club such as Kendra Norman-Bellamy and her daughter Brittney Holmes plus there are many more, you’ll see.
Friday, while in the library, I came across The List by Sherri Lewis. I read the back of the book and laughed out loud, because my coworker and I recently had a conversation about asking God for guidance regarding men and “finding the one”. My co-worker asked me “Do you have a list?” and of course I said “No”. After reading the book “The List” I fell in love with Ms. Lewis and will continue to read books by her (I also made my list last night). I went to the Urban Christian website and search my local library for more titles and was pleased that they have about ten books for me to place on hold. As a young woman, I am trying to grow stronger in God and I appreciate books by authors such as Ms. Lewis. These books show people like me that if we put God first in our lives then all things will work out.
Thank you and my God continue to bless each and every one of you.
I just finished Not Guilty of Love by Pat Simmons and I enjoyed it as I did her first two books. I was worried that Malcom and Hallison were not going to be together but they pulled it off. It was a blessing that Malcolm realized how important it was to have God in his life. I can say that the temptations that were placed in both of their paths had me worried as well but devil did not win.
I enjoy your writing so keep up the good work because you have a message in your writing that your readers need. I can’t wait to purchase your next book. May God bless and keep you!
Teresa,
Thank you for picking up Book II: Not Guilty of Love in the Guilty series, and taking the time to write. Malcolm had me worried too, but I couldn’t let the devil win!
The story continues in Book III: Still Guilty. Some people don’t let their lessons the first time.
Be blessed!
